Unconditional Love

Earlier today, we went to our first stop - PISD. We dropped the invitation to our Ninong Roger and Ninang Perla Kwan and the moment converted itself to a very rich marriage counseling. Marriage is indeed tough and it is only by the grace of God with daily intentional effort to love faithfully that it can last a lifetime.

When God chooses a lifetime partner for you, He doesn't give you the most compatible person you can live with. Instead, a person who can be totally different to who you are. Why? Because He wants you to learn to love unconditionally even when your own conditions can never be met. Living to love unconditionally is the greatest benefit that marriage can ever do to a person--this is the presence of God Himself. #Christ-likeness
